My name is Oliver and I recently graduated with a master’s in Civil Engineering, achieving First Class Honours, from the University of Southampton. During my degree I studied a variety of pure and applied mathematics modules, developing my A-level knowledge to the next stage and providing me with a deep understanding of the subject. I have always been aware that the classes I enjoyed most were those taught in an engaging and comprehensible style. I try to use this knowledge in my tutoring approach, helping the student to have a pleasant experience and become more engaged in the subject. My experience as a tutor stems from a past of helping others. I initially provided additional teaching for my younger brother during his GCSE maths before helping to tutor a fellow engineering student through his first-year maths tests. It is my aim to benefit the students as much as possible and as a result, I welcome any resources or suggestions students or parents can provide. I am easy to reach and will always aim to provide a fast response.
