Dear Parent, I've been a secondary school teacher in the West of London and a private tutor of both Maths and Physics for 25+ years; Having taught in St. Mark's School, Hounslow and as Head of Physics in Cranford Community College and Ealing Tutorial College I nowadays provide tuition, either face-to-face in my home at Whitton or - increasingly - online. I have taught students across the full ability range, students with moderate learning difficulties as well as those aiming to achieve top grades in GCSE and at A - Level. All of my advanced students have gone on to University, some to medical school and successful Oxford or Cambridge entrance. In my early years I gained experience as an examiner and that has enabled me to guide my students more effectively in preparation for GCSE and A - Level exams. I am very familiar with the requirements of the main Exam Boards and the recent changes to their specifications in both Maths and Physics. Over the last few years I have developed strategies, including Skype and the latest advances in technology, to carry out tuition online, so that I can share my knowledge and enthusiasm with a wider range of students who would benefit from my help. Please ask me for details of how online tuition can work for you and see details below.
