I qualified as a Primary School Teacher in 2014, after completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (age 4 -11). Previously, I studied English and American Literature at the University of Kent. For the majority of my career I have worked with Early Years and Key Stage 1 children. I am a passionate, nurturing and caring teacher and have always focused on helping children to develop their academic skills while also building their confidence, resilience and self-esteem.
How would you describe your teaching style?
I am a calm and patient teacher who cares deeply about helping children to progress not only with their learning but also with their social skills and self-esteem. I like to plan relevant learning experiences that tap into the interests of the learner and in turn this makes learning much more fun!
