Tell us about your experience...
I've worked as a school librarian for over 5 years and my whole family are teachers so I am a dedicated and experienced educator. I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of young people in my work as a School Librarian. I am passionate about advocating for the best possible life for young people and encouraging their creative and intellectual growth. Previously this has manifested in giving career advice and supporting the personal projects of my students, such as helping with the blog of a young girl with ambitions to become a journalist and encouraging another student of mine to finish his comic so that I could enter him into a competition. This proactive spirit is something I would bring to working as a Tutor. One of the core responsibilities of a school librarian is to be flexible and creative, establishing new ways of reaching young people as well as expanding teaching methods. As such, I have experience of writing worksheets and organising activity days or trips, as well as organising author visits and fun days - I can bring variety and excitement into your child's learning. My aim working in secondary schools has been to imbue young people with a love of reading, learning and themselves.
What locations do you tutor in?

What is your personal message to students?
