How would you describe your teaching style?
My aim as a tutor is to help my pupils to achieve their personal goals and increase their confidence with French. Above all else, my main goal is to encourage my pupils to enjoy learning and speaking French, and to encourage them to see the benefits of learning about another culture. Lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual; they are structured and well-planned, but always good fun and engaging!

I have 5 years' experience teaching French in secondary schools. In the past, I lived and worked in France for 2 years. I also have experience teaching English as a second language. I am fully experienced teaching pupils with a variety of different abilities and across all secondary key stages (year 7-13). I am fully familiar with the National Curriculum for languages and relevant GCSE and A-Level exam board specifications, including AQA and Edexcel. I have a bank of up-to-date tools and resources for teaching and also for extending tutees' knowledge outside of the classroom/tutorials. As well as teaching experience, I have worked in the travel industry, cultural event management and sales for a Fairtrade organisation.
