I specialise in physics and maths with an understanding that these subjects are often challenging for students. I make an effort to find creative ways of breaking down difficult concepts, and my sessions have a focus on strategies to tackle this, not only in class but in revision too. I have a good understanding of what it takes to score highly in exams and work with students to achieve their targets, tailoring my classes to each student. I believe with hard work any child can achieve their goals.
How would you describe your teaching style?
My style of teaching ensures that my students gain a deeper understanding of the concepts at hand. I like to push students to broaden their thinking beyond what has been taught at school. This can give them an edge when attempting harder questions and makes them all round better learners and thinkers. These skills are developed over time and take practice, so I am very patient with students- it takes time to become comfortable tackling difficult concepts. Everyone is different so I tailor my teaching and classes to help the individual and help them to find the ways they like to learn so that its most beneficial to them.

What is your personal message to students?
Hi students! I recently graduated from uni and have a good understanding of how challenging exams can be. From my experience tutoring I've found that a massive barrier for students is simply confidence, especially with the harder subjects like maths. To overcome this you will need to be focused and dedicated, the more you practice the more confident you will become! There is only so much variety the examiners can put in exam papers, and in time with my guidance you will become comfortable working your way through exam questions. The first class you book with me will be at a discounted price, this is because I want to make sure you think I'm a good fit for teaching you before any commitments are made (its not enough just for your parents to like me!). Also in this class we will agree on a target grade you want to achieve and this is what we will work towards in our sessions. Best wishes in your studies!- Inca
