I encourage a strong rapport and an adaptable, flexible approach to help students engage with subject matter on their own terms while also being pushed and challenged. Particularly as an undergraduate tutor at both King's College and University College London, this entailed various individual requirements (e.g. non-native speakers of English, post-A-level vs "ab initio" students) to which I was required to remain constantly alert to ensure full student participation, for which I was rewarded with 90%+ positive feedback in end-of-year student evaluations. Having worked with a wide range of students from 11+ to upper secondary and university levels, I am confident in working together with students and parents to ensure both examination success and an enduring fondness for learning.
