I am an energetic, creative and versatile individual who likes challenges and always goes beyond what is expected of her. Whatever I choose to do in life, I do it with a lot of passion and enthusiasm. I am a firm believer in that no two days should be the same; one should step out of the comfort zone, make mistakes, and learn from them. I believe that mastering another language means to adapt a different view and approach to life and living. Teaching English to people from all walks of life has brought immense joy to me and I look forward to the opportunity to provide a positive learning experience.

Tell us about your experience...

My biggest passion in life is sharing my love for languages and linguistics with others in addition to empower people from disadvantaged backgrounds to realise their potentials and take an active role in society. As an Assistant Lecturer in a special education college, I taught life skills to young adults with severe autism before I embarked on the journey of teaching English as a Foreign Language to young learners from age 11 to 17. Since 2016, I have been working in various secondary schools and an adult education centre in London, teaching young learners and adults. I have taught a variety Cambridge courses (IGCSE English as Second Language, FCE, PET and KET) and prepared learners to take GCSE English Language (Pearson Edexcel) and Functional Skills English exams.

What is your personal message to students?

I can assist you with developing your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills if your primary aim is to become a better user of English or I can help you prepare to take English language or public exams. I’m a big fan and advocate of personalised learning and therefore all what we will cover in the lessons will be tailored to your interests and goals. You will receive the learning materials in advance and we could agree what online learning platform would be the most suitable to use. I’m not rigid in my teaching I can always change the direction of a lesson if it becomes boring.
