Hi, Having achieved a BEd and MEd in Primary Education, I have taught for 10 years. Alongside teaching in the classroom, I have enjoyed seeing pupils make further progress on a 1:1 basis through private tutoring. I always have high expectations of those I teach and tailor each session to meet the needs of the individual. Lessons are fun and interactive to enable pupils to be motivated and keen to learn more. I am also more than happy to provide pupils with extra work to complete outside of lessons so enable them to consolidate new ideas taught. Prior to our sessions, I always like to offer a free assessment lesson to enable me to gain an greater understanding of the strengths and areas for development for your child, as well as any likes and dislikes. I then use this, alongside a discussions with parents, to plan work accordingly.
