Economics and Maths Tutor with 2 years of experience in tutoring A Level and GCSE students. I hold a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and as such can also provide help and support with the Oxbridge / university admissions process.

How would you describe your teaching style?

My teaching method is based on tackling questions with students, I believe this approach enables the student and myself to identify specific areas of the subject in which improvements can be made. I can offer help with explanations of concepts/ topic areas, essay writing and revision techniques

What qualifications do you have?

I have recently graduated with an Upper Second Class Ba Hons in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University. I have been tutoring throughout my time at university part time but I am now seeking to go full time in the coming year. I specialise in economics tutoring and I can also tutor maths, having studied this at A level. I can offer advice on University application process from experience with the UCAS process, personal statements and admissions tests/ interviews.

Tell us about your experience...

I have two years of experience in guiding students through the A level economics course, GCSE mathematics and also the university admissions process.

What locations do you tutor in?

I can tutor at the student’s house or online.

What is your personal message to students?

I am enthusiastic and have a real passion for my subjects. I have two years of experience in tutoring, but did A Levels recently enough to understand things from the students’ perspective. My approach is focussed on providing an engaging experience for the student, as producing a genuine interest is the most effective method for learning.
