I have just passed my PhD in Mathematics, and obtained a first class master of mathematics degree in summer 2014. I am extremely passionate about Mathematics and would like to continue sharing my outstanding knowledge to help others.
How would you describe your teaching style?
I am a patient and understanding tutor and looks to develop habits of showing good, clear working steps when solving Maths problems. I can provide lessons on a topic of choice as well as school work/homework support and exam style practice questions. Whilst teaching, I like to encourage a high level of practice of answering questions, an approach which helps to remember effectively when being asked again in future. My main experience with online teaching comes from Skype. Its recommended tool bitpaper for interactive whiteboard usage was used, with a sharing link available, that can be passed to your pupils for referring back to in their own time. Typed notes will be available.
What qualifications do you have?
PhD Mathematics: Pass subject to corrections. Master of Mathematics: First class Honours.
