I’m Anna, a qualified Spanish tutor originally from Barcelona. In 2014 I moved to London and I graduated as a Spanish Language Teacher in Instituto Cervantes. And since then I have been working as a private Spanish tutor conducting one-to-one and group classes (Skype/Zoom) to students of a range of ages, nationalities and levels (DELE A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 / GCSE and A-level). I have been exposed to a wide variety of learning requirements and I tailor a unique course of learning with my own teaching materials for each student.

How would you describe your teaching style?

• Establishing lesson structures, creating varied scenarios and learning contexts, en- couraging conversation and questions, analysing intonation, tone, vocabulary and grammar, using a variety of media. • Developing ways to monitor students learning, generating file-notes and charts, grouping items and displaying them for easy reference. • Developing learners ability to differentiate between styles of speech and writing. • Working in grammar practice, oral fluency, comprehension and new vocabulary. • Helping the students to discover what ways of learning work best for them. • Experimenting with different ways of creating and using language, for example with new ways of using words, playing with different arrangements of sounds and struc- tures, inventing imaginative texts and playing language games.

What qualifications do you have?

After completing my degree in Psychology, my passion for teaching and working with young people drove me to pursue an MA in Teaching at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. In 2014 I graduated as a Spanish Language Teacher in Instituto Cervantes.
