I am nearing completion of my PhD in Economics, and in addition I have a deep interest in and knowledge of Mathematics. My maths teachers were fantastic, and I want to be able to generate the enthusiasm for Maths and Economics that my teachers created for me, for others. I like to bring a relaxed and friendly approach to my tutorials so all my students feel calm and at ease. I also make the topics as interesting as possible. Before lessons, I would appreciate if you could outline what specific topics you would like to learn, so I can prepare lessons of increasing difficulty that I can run through with you to help build up your confidence with Maths and/or Economics. As we get more confident with topics, I'd like to go through an example exam question to measure your progress and to give you an example of questions you would be likely to see in your tests. I am currently available at any time, most days.
