Private Tutors in Isle Of Man and Tutoring in Isle Of Man
I have been teaching for around 20 years but completed my UK qualification in 2016 (a PGCE (MFL French and Spanish) with Liverpool John Moore University though I had previously achieved QTLS as an EAL teacher in 2012. I then spent a few months teaching part time via an agency at Albany Science College in Chorley before moving to Normandy for six months to gain practical experience of life in France. I came to the Isle of Man in 2018 and started teaching at King William’s College (KWC) in September of that year. It was at KWC that I completed my NQT year.
I hold both QTS and QTLS. I have around 20 years’ experience in teaching Russian, French and English (EAL/ESOL) - both in my native Georgia and in the UK. I first qualified as a languages teacher in my home country Tskhinval, South Ossetia in 1998 (this qualification has been verified by NARIC as equivalent to UK degree standard).
I am able to offer outstanding lessons in French, Spanish, Russian and English (EAL).

I'm patient and will look through your required portion of the syllabus for the day and will make a study plan to follow so that you can have a general idea of what we'll be doing. We'll be going at your pace, so you don't have to worry about going too slow or fast. I'm always open to suggestions and would love to work with you to achieve your goals as long as you are willing to try and learn! I'm a straight-A student and have studied up to Calculus previously. I have given the Cambridge IGCSE board exams before and got 4A*s (including Math, Physics and Chemistry) so I'm more than qualified to help you.

Private Tutors Near Isle of Man
I have a BSc in Applied Mathematics and an MSc in Mathematics and have been teaching Maths and Physics in secondary and further education for 35+ years. Privately I have taught all levels from KS2 to A Level and some undergraduate work in Maths, Physics and Engineering.
I am patient, friendly and methodical in my approach to tutoring and try to instil confidence in my tutees as quickly as possible. I am flexible in my teaching methods and adapt my pace of delivery to the needs and ability of my tutee(s).
I am happy to work with my tutee to explain and reinforce the ideas behind the current topics that they are studying in school or college so they are able to keep up with their classwork. One of the worst fears amongst students especially in Maths is falling behind the rest of their peer group and not understanding the work as well as everyone else. When I am satisfied that my tutee is able to cope with their current work then I often revise topics to ensure they do not forget past work. Both Maths and Physics require development of skills that constantly need practice. When it is close to tests or exams I will focus on exam paper questions from exam boards so that tutees are aware of the standard required for the grade they are aiming to achieve.

I am an experienced Maths and Physics tutor and can teach a wide age range from 10 upwards. I have a great love for the subjects I teach and derive great satisfaction from seeing my tutees grow in confidence as they begin to understand better a subject that they perhaps hate or have great fear of. I am just as comfortable teaching a 10 year old as I am with an A level student I am preparing for exams.

I am a qualified Maths teacher who has just moved to Amlwch, Anglesey and so I have a few spaces for Maths tuition (and more for September). I specialise in 11-16 years although can happily teach younger years and adults. I am teaching in a Welsh school and so have current experience of WJEC syllabus and the assessments this year.
Although I am learning Welsh I am unable to teach in Welsh yet.
I have a degree in Chemical Engineering and also have experience teaching Nursing Maths.
I am known to have a good relationship with both parents and students, and try to make the lessons just the right mix of hard work with a sprinkling of fun and laughter.

Hi,
I am a final year BSc Finance student at Queen’s University Belfast, planning to commence MSc Quantitative Finance here as well come September.
I have always performed well in maths throughout school, getting A* at GCSE and A Level, and have felt the need to help those who naturally struggle with the subject. I have a year’s experience volunteering in tutoring at Belfast South Community Resources, and a week of paid tutoring at an Easter GCSE revision class. I would be willing to travel and tutor within the Belfast area as my university year will be finished for the summer, for a rate of £20/hr.
Thank you for your consideration,
Rob Cunningham
