Maths and science are fascinating subjects that help us understand how world around us works. Maths is important for science at all levels, so I tutor both maths and science, encouraging critical thinking and problem solving. I have over 2 years experience working in a secondary school supporting science teaching, demonstrating practical techniques and developing resources for learners of all abilities and backgrounds. I have supported learning with students at all ages, from Rainbows as a Girlguiding volunteer, primary, secondary school and university level students. I tutor my own two primary school age children, encouraging them to ask questions and think about how they could find the answers to them. We also discuss topics beyond their current curriculum, exploring and understanding them together.
