Private Tutors in Solihull and Tutoring in Solihull
I'm a recently-retired Assistant Head with 40 years' experience in Years 4-6. Alongside being a class teacher, I was responsible for curriculum design and assessment. I also led English throughout the school. This means I am fully aware of the requirements of the national curriculum and can tailor teaching to individual needs. I have had many years' experience in preparing children for 11+, independent school exams and KS2 SATs. SATs results at my school were regularly above the national average, despite mixed-ability classes.I offer private tuition sessions at my home for all external examinations, together with general support and confidence-building in all areas of English and Maths for children needing that extra little boost in Years 4-6. Fees are payable half-termly in advance.

Children are able to work at a suitable pace for themselves meaning it is suitable for children that are struggling at school through to those that are more reserved and require additional challenges. Our aim is to ensure that all students are studying above their school level within 6 months.
