I am a retired classroom teacher and since retiring have worked nearly every day teaching students of all types, from 5-year old children to degree students. I am fanatical about good pronunciation and grammatical accuracy, seek to entertain and enjoy myself and get on with people easily. I make good use of past exam papers and DVDs using French television recordings and I have a lot of listening materials.

I am a self-taught acoustic/electric guitarist. I believe I can give you the knowledge to get a head start in guitar if from learning basic chords, tunings, finger picking and some basic riffs and solos. The best way is to start at the bottom and work the way up. I tend to start teaching the very basic chords that only require two fingers to start with then moving onto three then four.
