Biology Tutors in Liverpool and Biology Tutoring in Liverpool
I like to get to know my students and find out their problem areas within a subject. I try to stimulate student’s minds to think and develop their intuition. My work as a physics researcher means I have a solid understanding of science and experience of sitting exams myself. I have the energy to motivate students to work hard and strive to help all students regardless of age, ability or background. I have been studying alternative teaching methods such as the Montessori method where curiosity and fun learning is the key to knowledge.

I am a Medical Laboratory Assistant with a Biomedical Science degree. I have 8 years of tutoring experience and all students have passed with A*-A in GCSE Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I am a very friendly and approachable tutor who improve students' academic performance by encouraging them and tackling difficult questions on past papers. I use different teaching techniques according to the student to improve their performances.
Having graduated with an honours degree in Science, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology, my desire for teaching led me to my current study of a PGCE in Science with Biology. I believe personal tutoring can be highly effective given the one to one communication benefits that allow young adults to excel in their education. Through my experiences as a private tutor, I have seen the added benefits of that additional work and how it can be applied. I am available Sat-Sun 9-6 and Mon-Wed 6-7.
