Drama Tutors in Lewisham and Drama Tutoring in Lewisham
I know that engaging a tutor can be nerve-wracking. From embarking on a search, to the first session, to exam dates, it can be a fraught experience. But I have the experience and the sensitivity to make this experience smooth, engaging and even enjoyable. I have a wealth of experience, tutoring for almost 5 years, since leaving Cambridge University with a degree in History of Art. My greatest skill lies in being able to put both students and parents at ease, through a combination of engaging activities, pitched at a comfortably challenging level, and delivered with confidence. This is partly helped by the fact that I act and direct alongside my tutoring. I can transform your framework of learning to make objectives manageable and tailored, and to find ways of helping you shape and realise your own ambitions. Using a combination of tested methods of increasing engagement and a constant process of adapting my style to each student, I have achieved remarkable successes with my students. This success includes academic achievements, but I am most proud of the consistency with which I have fostered passion and confidence in the subjects we study together. I love new people, new perspectives and new ways of working, and I look forward to meeting you!

I'm an experienced and enthusiastic English and Drama tutor, with a great passion for helping my students thrive. I graduated with an English degree from the University of Cambridge, and I have just completed Masters in Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have expert knowledge in both subjects and I'm extremely enthusiastic about sharing it. I began tutoring prior to my graduation from Cambridge, and since then I have encountered a variety of students with diverse needs and backgrounds. I go to great lengths to ensure I tailor each tutorial to the student's needs and that adequate study materials are shared in advance of every lesson. I am a believer that lessons should be engaging and fun, as well as rigorous. I work to both challenge my tutees and help them feel more confident in their abilities. I guide them towards being able to achieve top quality in their independent work. Complementary to tutoring, I have experience as a house manager and activities organiser in summer schools that teach English as a foreign language. I am an accomplished drama workshop leader and enjoy teaching performing arts. I am a writer and theatre director.

I am an award wining actress offering drama training to children under 16 who are interested in either joining the industry professionally and would like audition and skills technique training and or children who’s parents feel they may benefit from the confidence they will gain through drama and speech therapy. I studied Drama and Creative Writing and have a 2.1 from the University of West England as well as a masters in professional acting from Drama Studio London. I also offer English tutoring to children who lack confidence in reading and writing and need help catching up with the rest of their class.
