Private Tutors in Kirklees and Tutoring in Kirklees
Pennine Tuition Services’ vision is to be a leading provider of quality, affordable, personalised Maths, English and Science tutoring and educational support, by qualified, experienced, DBS checked and committed teachers, to Year 7-13 learners in their homes or at our learning centres or online. To help your child achieve better grades in their GCSEs and A Levels, it might be necessary to have a dedicated tutor who works alongside your child to help them to enhance their exam confidence and perfect any areas they might be struggling with. Pennine’s comprehensive and holistic approach to private tutoring uniquely engages students, making them enjoy and feel more driven and motivated to succeed. In addition to covering the entire curriculum, we assist each and every one of our students to develop practical examination skills, by working through practice questions and taking mock exams. This usually highlights areas that need further development, and we go through these topics in detail during our tuition sessions. We believe effective exam practice can help to build confidence whilst fighting off any fears and anxiety. Better knowledge of the subject, coupled with coaching on a calm and composed approach, helps our children achieve above exceptional results.

As an experienced teacher and personal tutor, with a PGCE in functional skills; a good degree in sociology and anthropology; and a TEFL certification; I am thoroughly enjoying my career in education. Using a person-centred approach, I have taught students from all backgrounds, from toddlers, through to adults, across a range of settings. These have included a Montessori school; youth clubs; nurseries; two training centres; schools; summer festivals; community ESL classes; and a home-schooling group. Every student is unique and I take the time to build rapport with each learner, as they learn, fostering a warm and professional approach.
