I am a graduate in Chemical Physics, has been a private tutor of maths and sciences (KS3 to A-level) since 2003 for a large number of students. He has worked part-time in the Additional Educational Needs department of Norton Knatchbull school in Ashford (Jan to May 2017), as a temporary science lecturer in East Kent College (2013-2014) and as an ICT trainer in the voluntary sector on Windows and Office suite applications (2003-2004).

I have a PhD in biology from the University of Nottingham and have taught science to a wide spectrum of pupils ranging from university undergraduates to primary school pupils and pupils preparing for 11 Plus. My guiding principles are patience, clarity and enthusiasm, with a real conviction to enable pupils to reach their goals. I teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to GCSE (Chemistry and Biology to A level) as well as offer Eleven Plus tuition. I usually tutor students in their home and I am available daytime, evening and weekends.

I have an MSc from Imperial College London (joint with the Natural History Museum, London) in Taxonomy and Biodiversity having previously completed an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Oxford University. I currently work part-time in a health charity, with the majority of my work regarding the care of paediatric patients. My aim is to instil a real love of science in my tutees, working towards moulding their own curiosity so that they can reach their full academic potential. I am available daytime, evening and weekends.
