Having completed my degree in Physics I worked in London as a educational consultant and academic mentor and have now transitioned to tutoring full-time. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at Eton College before moving to St Catherine's College, Oxford University to study Physics and have tutored for the last 5 years alongside my academic studies. My approach to tutoring is to encourage my students to share in my love of the subjects I teach and so want to strive to improve. I have a calm, measured approach to lessons and with an extensive knowledge of how the sciences and maths fit together am able to tailor lessons to a level my students feel comfortable at, improving their grades as well as well as developing their enjoyment of learning for its own sake. I am available for online tuition and have a fully setup to deliver this in the most effective manner possible. I find that online tuition works best for both myself and my students as the notes and lessons are stored electronically thereby allowing easy review. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like any further information or to arrange a first, free session.

I have just finished my second Master’s degree in Business. I am a big sport fanatic especially when it comes to tennis and football. I have always taught Spanish and English on the side as love languages, the different cultures and relish opportunities to improve people’s linguistic skills! I have just finished a year in New York working with the Emerging Markets In Latin America and taking some time off before moving to Mexico and continuing my work in Banking. I come from a bilingual background (English father and Spanish mother). I have worked in both England and Spain in Finance and have also tutored in both countries. My native background in both countries allows me to teach native and modern Spanish as well as English. I have tutored for 7-8 years and have taught all levels (from beginners just trying to learn the basics to advanced students preparing for university exams). I have also taught all ages from 11-80! It is never too early or too late to improve one’s Spanish! I achieved an A* in both my A-Level and GCSE Spanish. I can also teach the other subjects I have included. I achieved an A* at GCSE in all the subjects I advertise . I am available at all hours given that tutoring is my only job at the moment.

I am an engaging, enthusiastic and friendly individual with a passion for maths, and I am excited to work together with you to get you the best results! Every student is capable of achieving the best results. For some this requires additional help, someone to be patient with them and take the time to break down challenging topics so they no longer seem inconceivable. I am passionate about helping my students secure a solid education, to lay the foundations for a successful career later in life. A strong grasp of mathematics is invaluable, not only does it open the door to a plethora of opportunities, but it aids you in daily tasks. I believe encouraging the student to work out the problems for themselves rather than using a spoon-fed approach, will allow the student to truly understand the content on a deeper level and is the key to long-term memory retention and ultimately, good grades! This creates a strong foundation from which one might tackle more complicated or previously unseen problems. Following my 2016 graduation from The University of Sheffield where I gained a degree in Business Management (specializing in Mathematics and Finance), I have been consistently employed within in the finance sector. This has allowed me to gain the ability to interact in a friendly, yet professional manner with everyone that I meet. I am currently pursuing a qualification as an ICAEW chartered accountant and plan to qualify in 2020. I have enclosed my CV with further information on my experience to date. I am greatly excited to use my passion for teaching to input into your education and I look forward to hearing from you.

Having recently graduated from Oxford University with a first class degree in Experimental Psychology, and in receipt of a Masters offer from both UCL and Yale, I believe I possess a well-grounded academic basis to apply myself within the tutoring context. My experience of working with children, both academically and extracurricularly, has provided me with a variety of skills suitable for the role. My personal teaching philosophy combines academic excellence with cultural appreciation. That is, I not only to teach my students the ‘ins and outs’ of their academic curriculum, but also to go beyond this expectation and aim to incorporate additional artistic and cultural elements to their eduction. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring residentially; I love watching my students learn and develop, as well as socialising and building relationships with new families.

I am a University College London (UCL) Genetics graduate, and a Newly Qualified Teacher of Science with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I am also willing to deliver sessions to younger students who would like to engage in the science curriculum and gain some knowledge before they reach secondary. I ask that parents/students inform me of what exam board they are on before sessions begin so I can ensure sessions are tailored to the pupil and they can gain the most from it. I also ask that parents/students inform me of what the pupil would like to cover in that lesson beforehand so I can prepare any relevant resources and the session is more focused.

I am happy to edit your essays if you wish to improve. Lesson format: I live in West London and I am happy to travel to your home or have online classes. After each lesson, I will set you some homework and mark it in my own free time, so I can get back to you when our next lesson begins and help you to find the area that you need to improve the most. Each homework will take approximately 1 hour to complete, and I will mark them very carefully to give the best feedback possible! Please contact me with any questions that you may have.
