Physics Tutors in Islington and Physics Tutoring in Islington
Maths/Physics/Oxbridge admissions I studied at Cambridge for a total of eight years, from a BA in Natural Sciences to an MSci and a PhD in Materials Science. I also gained extensive experience teaching undergraduates in Materials Science through the Cambridge supervision system (small-group or sometimes one-on-one teaching). I have also interviewed candidates for Cambridge undergraduate admission. I captained the St John’s College, Cambridge team to victory in the 2017-18 series of University Challenge, which remains one of my proudest achievements! Through these experiences, I have developed a range of strategies for different types of learning from rote-memorisation to giving a framework to abstract concepts – strategies which can help any student.

I am a fun but firm tutor, whose love for children is only beaten by his love for teaching children. I have found great success at all levels of institutionalised learning, and would love the opportunity to pass on all I have learnt, so that others might share in the same success as me.
