Biology Tutors in Islington and Biology Tutoring in Islington
I recently completed my degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, where I graduated with upper Second Class Honours. I volunteered as a teaching assistant during my last two years of school, where I assisted GCSE and Year 1 A-level Biology teaching for two hours a week. At university, I was part of the Edinburgh University Biology Peer Assisted Learning Scheme, a student led group whose goal is to support first year students achieve their academic potential and ease their transit from high school to university life. I have been commended by teachers and pupils on my patience and ability to communicate with students of varying abilities. I reviewed A-level and GCSE Biology in depth during the past months as I was preparing for the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT).

Enthusiastic tutor looking to teach the next generation of scientists! I have a 1st Class Bsc in Biology from the University of York and a PhD in stem cell biology from the University of Liverpool. I currently work as a Research Fellow at the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health for UCL where I work on the latest research in stem cell biology for cell and gene therapies. I have been an active tutor for the past two years, tutoring an A-Level Biology student and a Masters student in Biochemistry, which I have found to be incredibly rewarding. I currently work at the cutting edge of Biology, using gene editing and cell biology techniques for the development of new therapies. Therefore, I have a great deal of experience that I can bring to my lessons of all the brand new technologies in Biology today. Please contact me for more details!
