FAIL TO PREPARE = PREPARE TO FAIL. 11+ exam support and tuition - sounds familiar? Is your child preparing the 11+ exam? If so, you will have noticed just how many tutors, tuition centres and establishments are out there in the market. The search for the right educational support can be overwhelming not to mention the price tag it comes with. Parents, desperate to give their child the right start in life are pressured into expensive decisions, in return hoping for success at 11+. After all, spending a small fortune now is worth it in the long term - right? Wrong! And allow me to explain to you why...As a passionate and dedicated parent, I have explored almost all educational facilities and services available in the vicinity. After engaging with many of them for a period of time & unconvinced by the service provided, I realised that the only way my child would succeed is taking destiny into my own hands. Though I am not a teacher, I have acquired 3 degrees in Engineering, Law and Management (the latter 2 to Masters Level). I was therefore more than competent and skilled enough to tutor my child at home in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning - far more than any tutor in the tuition centres! Needless to mention success was achieved in all 8 of the 11+ exams I prepared my child for, along with scholarships to 4 independent schools. From where we once were - trying to locate the right tutor, we were now spoilt for choice with offers from leading secondary schools across London. We finally accepted an offer from City of London School which is renowned for its extremely challenging entry process. For me, I have lived and breathed the 11+ tuition market. It is a market that offers mediocre teaching at a disproportionate price. A market that over-promises and under-delivers and I truly feel for any parent who is being exploited by it. It is absolutely true that 11+ is an extremely competitive exam and success cannot be achieved without some level of effort from both parent and child. But this does not have to come with an unreasonable cost. If you are serious about 11+ exams & your child is between year 1-6 in primary school, I would be more than happy to speak to you about how to approach coaching and provide the educational support you may require. Success of my own child is proof that this can be achieved without the falling into a vicious cycle with little result. Feel free to get in touch, even if it’s just a chat to see if you are on the right track but should you wish to have some coaching, then lessons will be held at my home in Romford during evenings and weekends. Materials and coaching can be provided at very reasonable rates. A commitment to work hard and persevere is all that is required and remember - the earlier you start the coaching, the higher the chances of success. If interested in taking the journey with me or would just like a chat to make sure your are on the right track then please contact me. I really look forward to hear you. Otherwise thanks for reading and wishing you the very best in your 11+ journey...and always remember: FAIL TO PREPARE = PREPARE TO FAIL. Best wishes, TutorV500.
