Science Tutors in Haringey and Science Tutoring in Haringey
I am a masters student living not far from Seven Sisters station (South Tottenham). I am currently studying to become a Speech and Language therapist at University College London (UCL), but in my spare time would love to tutor maths, english, science or psychology. I have a first class undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Maths A Level, these would be my two strongest and most commonly tutored subjects. A lot of requests are about the statistics side of Psychology which I also love to tutor. However I can also teach English Literature and/or Language (up to GCSE) or Science (up to Year 9). I am willing to travel to you and have flexible availability for weekday evenings, most Fridays or weekends. I make my lessons easy to understand and not boring!

Passionate, dedicated and trustworthy Tutor based in Haringey. I tutor KS1 & KS2 students in Maths, English and Science. My aim is to ensure all my students succeed. My methodology is simple. I start by interviewing (having a chat with the view of getting to know) all my students, I then assess them to ascertain how to tutor my student and also what their strengths and weaknesses are. Then I tailor make my lesson plans around that, as every student is unique, that means they have different learning styles and paces. I tend to focus on the weaknesses more; by making learning fun and interesting I can engage students more. My success as a tutor comes from helping students smash their goals and some.

As a Master's graduate in Physics from King's College London, I am a qualified and enthusiastic tutor with the in-depth subject knowledge required to teach subjects that students often struggle with. I have worked as a tutor throughout my undergraduate degree, and have experience working in tuition centres and classroom environments. My approach to tutoring is to be patient and encouraging in order to provide sufficient levels of reassurance to the student while explaining difficult concepts. I believe in continuous assessment of the student's progress in order to ensure understanding of the subject.
