Music Tutors in Camden and Music Tutoring in Camden
I am a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where I obtained my Artist Diploma, Masters and Bachelor degrees. I started learning the violin and piano at age 6, and moved to the UK at age 8. I attended the Yehudi Menuhin School-a specialist music school for young musicians- since the age of 10, under the tutelage of Professor Natasha Boyarsky. With her guidance, I got accepted into the Royal College of Music with a full scholarship, and have recently completed my studies with Professor Radu Blidar. I perform as a soloist, and as a chamber and orchestral musician in London: I currently work at the BBC Symphony, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and Wales National Opera orchestras. I have been private teaching since 2012, and am very hard working and committed as a tutor- I have helped my students pass their various exams with 100% success rate, with the majority of them getting top marks and distinctions. I hope to share wonderful music with you! *Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I am currently only offering online tutoring via Skype or Facetime. Please get in touch via email.

I have 35 years experience, preparing students from their first lesson to any level for public exams (Trinity, ABRSM, GCSE and A Level), or just for pleasure (Classical, Folk, Blues, Rock). I also teach theory, composition, song writing, music technology (home recording), electric guitar and bass. I teach from age 7 to 70 plus. I'm used to encouraging children through the difficult moments, and counselling adults who are often far too hard on themselves. I never forget whose lesson it is, and I will tailor the process to fit whatever the student's needs. Please note: Concessionary rates are available subject to qualifying benefits, e.g. free school meals.

I graduated in 2018 with a high 2.i in Physical Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. I am an experienced Science and Maths tutor up to degree level, I have experience teaching children with Speech Language and Communication needs, and I tutor for Oxbridge Personal Statements and entrance exams. I therefore have a vast amount of experience teaching children of all ages and abilities, and in a wide range of subjects (Maths, Science, Music). I find teaching and educating incredibly rewarding, and believe every student has the potential to achieve. I have found that my pupils achieve their best when they feel comfortable expressing themselves and asking questions about the subject. I see teaching as a two-way process and pride myself on ensuring my pupils are empowered to do this.

I am an enthusiastic and committed private tutor. I have assisted many students in gaining a far greater understanding and enjoyment of learning. I have also helped students to achieve outstanding results in their examinations at GCSE and A-level. Several of my former students have gained entry to Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol and Sussex universities as a direct result of my tuition. I tailor tutoring to the individual student, devising a specialist programme of study and revision. I also update parents regularly on progress and set relevant homework which I mark and give detailed feedback on.
